The Role
As a Product Engineer at Metro, you'll be at the forefront of developing our AI-powered supply chain optimization platform. You'll work on cutting-edge technologies to solve complex challenges in logistics, data analysis, and process automation.
What You'll Do
Develop and optimize our core AI engine for automating supply chain audits, dispute resolution, and scenario planning
Build scalable architecture to handle diverse data sources and high-volume transactions across multiple carriers and file formats
Implement machine learning models for predictive analytics in supply chain finance and logistics optimization
Create intuitive user interfaces for our centralized payment data platform, analytics dashboards, and audit automation tools
Develop robust APIs for integrating with various Transportation Management Systems (TMSs), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs) systems, and carrier databases
Implement advanced security measures to ensure data protection and compliance in financial transactions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant code that addresses complex supply chain challenges
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML, data engineering, and scalable web applications
Proficiency in technologies such as Python, Node.js, React, TypeScript, and experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
Strong background in machine learning and data analysis, particularly in handling large datasets and creating predictive models
Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API development
Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, or fintech is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions
